Enzai Falsely Accused Review

Enzai is the very first BL game to be released in English. It is a Japanese yaoi game that is very dark in nature, a little too dark for my taste! I will not let my personal opinion of the subject matter get in the way here though as others may like yaoi games that go down this route.
The story is based around the main character called Guys, an 18 year old boy who lives in Napoleonic France. He is strong willed and hates to lose at anything.
Caught whilst fleeing from a shop keeper that he has stolen from he gets taken in front of the police. Whilst being questioned about the theft he is accused of murder of a man who he doesn’t even know.
Thanks to corruption and a drunken lawyer he is sent to the hell hole that is called prison, a dark place that leaves him with nothing good to look forward to. His life in prison is one of violence and fear, he has to endure physical torture, rape, gang rape, beatings and abuse and there despite his pleas of innocence.
Help comes from the unlikeliest of places as he begins to realise the scope of the plot that is unfolding and that he looks like he is unable to escape from.
If you don’t like yaoi games or BL dating sims that are of a dark nature then don’t buy Enzai because there is no way of escaping the atrocities that befall Guys. Whichever route you follow, Guys will be raped and raped over and over so be warned.
He meets many abominable people in Prison including Durer, the 30 year old main guard in the prison whose main purpose in life is to cause pain and suffering to the prisoners.
The music and environmental sounds are very well suited to the Enzai yaoi game and as you play it out it is almost as if you are taking part in an animated, subtitled and extreme hardcore movie.
There are different endings for many of the characters within the plot some good, some not so good. As with many of these games I didn’t play them all out as there are too many and I would still be playing it now.
Suffice to say that there are happy and not so happy endings as far as I could gather and it will be up to you to discover all of them, which should take you a long while. My hint to you would be make sure that you save your game before answering each question then you can go back and follow a different route if you would like to.
If you are new to BL dating sims or yaoi games then try searching for an Enzai walkthrough, but I would advise to only do this if you get stuck or want to find a particular type of ending as this may take some of the enjoyment out of the game for you.
Enzai is a great game for lovers of extreme BL dating sims. If dark yaoi games are your thing then buy Enzai as I cannot imagine them much darker than this.
