When you first look at the Grab a Pig web site you could be forgiven for thinking that this is just a Family card game because of the Disney like graphics and talking animals, but don't be put off, under the cute cuddly graphics burns the heart of one of the most fun and flexible adult card games that you are ever likely to play.
The manufacturers of the Grab a Pig card game told Adult Sex Game Reviews “First and foremost we invented this as an adult party game, it was only after playing our prototype extensively that we realised this also had real merit as a family game. With this in mind we produced a game that would suit all age groups from 6 to 96”.
This statement is indeed true, because the Grab a Pig card game has won awards from the highly acclaimed Good Toy guide for its merit as a family game. Whilst this point will be of interest to you if you have children or want to buy a gift for younger family members most of our visitors will want to know why we rate it so highly as an adult card game.
The three simple reasons for our opinion are this; fun, portability and adaptability. In short you can make the game as tame or riotous as you want, play it almost anywhere and are almost sure to enjoy it when played with a group of friends or family.
The game is well made and the weight feels right for the size of the box. Rather than having loads of empty space around the components and being in a huge box the manufacturers have opted to create a box to fit the components, this makes it feel like better value for money and also makes it more portable.
The Grab a Pig adult card game is easy to learn, has very few rules and is highly addictive. It consists of 6 sets of 4 animal cards, a score pad, pencil and 5 cute squeezy plastic pigs (the blow hole is even in the right place i.e. the arse! Because it is small it can be played almost anywhere, take it with you to the pub, on holiday or to parties and gatherings.
To Play the Grab a Pig adult card game you keep one set of animals cards in play for each player. For example if you have 4 players then use four of the different sets of cards. Shuffle the cards retained then simply place the pigs in the centre of the players (one less pig than there are players) and the the dealer deals four cards to each player face down.
When the dealer calls "oink" pass a card to your left. Carry on until someone has a set of the same cards then Grab a Pig! The play is as fast as the dealer's "oink" the faster the “oink” the more fun you'll have.
Once you have a set in your hand grab a pig but you'll need to be quick as the other players will make a grab for the pigs too. The player who misses a pig, loses a life, it is the losing of a life that adds the flexibility to the game. Bluffing is also allowed and adds to the tension of the game.
We played Grab a Pig adult card game as a drinking game, but it works well as a dare game, a strip game, a sex game in fact your imagination is the only limit. The way this works is by incorporating something into the losing of a life.
For example you could say that when the player loses a life they must do a dare, remove some clothing, kiss another player (anywhere), take a drink or something else, maybe even a combination!
